STMicroelectronics Malta is seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team.
Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work to resolve and eliminate production issues that impact plant productivity, customer deliveries, and product quality.
- Lead a team of process, production, and maintenance personnel in the preparation and delivery of Internal Incident Reports in a complete and timely manner.
- Develop and coordinate the execution of Root Cause Analysis, establish valid and timely Permanent Corrective Actions, and present the results in 8D reports to ST Malta Management.
- Manage non-conforming material in accordance with quality standards, including the monitoring and driving of related metrics.
- Ensure proper document control flow in DMS.
- Drive and support quality initiatives aimed at improving processes and overall quality, using Six Sigma methodology and the DMAIC process.
- Certify QC Operators.
- Review QC rejects at raw line and finishing stages and define the appropriate disposition.
