Position Description
You will serve as an AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (GENERAL) in the MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL (MRO) of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will review log books of aircraft or engines to obtain information as number of hours flown, location and conditions of operating, any damage sustained. You will incorporate change, routine discrepancies, and other factors significant to determining the required depth of overhaul. You will generate appropriate documentation in accordance with policies and procedures list for all other discrepancies. You will estimate material and man-hour requirements to make beyond economical and buy versus repair decisions. You will complete paper work to effect proper routing and sequence of work through shops in accordance with decisions made on depth of overhaul required. You will provide lists of items which are missing or beyond economical repair so that replacements will be made available through the supply system.
