Oracle Financial Analyst

Job Description: Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Systems, the Functional Analyst is responsible for Oracle Application support for Finance modules covering customizations, extensions, and integrations to existing applications. The Analyst is expected to work on-site providing solutions to business requirements, configuration changes, production support, troubleshooting including root cause analysis and data corrections, development activities and managing custom application development projects, customizations, and extensions of Oracle Applications. This position calls for working closely with functional and business users to understand requirements and turn them into designs (Solution/Technical) and specifications. A strong background in Finance and a thorough understanding of the underlying technical architecture of Oracle Applications (Finance) is necessary. Needs to be able to communicate with Finance Business users at the same Level, requiring fluency in all Finance business processes. Excellent interpersonal as well as good verbal and written communication skills combined with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.
