OSD Assembly & Test Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities · Technology Transfer & Documentation: Collaborate with the PA R&D test team to successfully transfer new products and test setups to Contract Manufacturing (CM) plants for volume production, developing comprehensive system documentation and work instructions. · Engineering Change Management: Support engineering change activities, including rigorous product testing and evaluation across all test engineering processes. · Cross-Functional Problem Solving: Partner with cross-functional groups, the PA R&D test engineering team, and CM partners to address process and product issues. Actively drive root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and the implementation of preventive actions. · Test Optimization & Innovation: Spearhead initiatives with PA R&D to enhance production test effectiveness and efficiency. This includes intelligent test-time reduction, as well as developing and optimizing new test methodologies and hardware configurations. · Automation & Equipment Management: Work closely with robotic handling equipment and machine vision systems to streamline operations. · Supplier Collaboration: Qualify and release bar-test systems to the production line in a timely manner by partnering closely with system suppliers. · Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth data analysis to evaluate test system and product performance. Document and present findings effectively to a broad, interdisciplinary design team. · Database Management: Assist in database structuring to efficiently manage characterization data. · General Support: Perform any other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
