Project Manager, Controllership Innovation

Help redesign finance processes and technology solutions inside a SOX-controlled environment at an aerospace company, translating stakeholder pain points into scalable, well-governed systems.
The Controllership Innovation team is seeking a curious, analytically strong professional to help design and deliver process and technology solutions in a controlled finance environment. This role will work across stakeholders to understand current-state processes, identify business value, gather and translate requirements, and support project design through delivery. The right person will bring a blend of consulting-style problem solving, finance or accounting experience, and technical fluency. They should be energized by understanding how things work, why they work that way, and how to improve them in a scalable, well-controlled way.
Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand current-state processes, pain points, and desired outcomesLead stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering for innovation and transformation initiativesSupport project design by translating business needs into practical process, data, and technology solutionsEvaluate opportunities through the lens of business value, control considerations, and long-term scalabilityWork within a SOX-controlled environment, ensuring solutions align with governance, risk, and compliance expectationsContribute across the solution lifecycle, including design, documentation, testing, and implementation supportApply knowledge of SDLC standards and testing practices to help deliver high-quality solutionsUse data and analytics to inform decisions, identify trends, and support process improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with cross-functional partners in finance, accounting, technology, and operations to move initiatives forward
