Own P&L and forecasting for Delta Air Lines engine product lines while spending time on the shop floor to understand real parts flow and drive cost efficiency.
The TechOps Finance team is seeking an innovative and results-driven individual for the Project Manager – TechOps Finance role. This position will be supporting Delta Air Lines Engine Maintenance operation and will serve as a key business partner to operations leadership, driving cost efficiency, process improvement, and financial performance. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Key responsibilities for this position include:
Ownership of Engine Product Line P&Ls, creating insightful reporting, owning weekly forecast process, developing long-range financial outlook, and supporting the annual operating plan processStreamline and automate financial processes and improving business partner visibility to financial performancePerform ad-hoc analysis and identify business challenges and opportunitiesSupport the monthly financial close and ensure proper internal controlsDrive engagement through spending significant time on the shop floor to observe processes, understand value streams, and learn the actual flow of partsCollaboration with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategiesPartner with Product Line owners to gain an in-depth understanding of supplier contracts
