Summary of Role GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 8 (Malta, NY) is seeking a talented and motivated Test Engineer to join the Reliability Engineering team engaged in advanced technology reliability characterization. This role supports wafer and package level reliability testing, technology development, and qualification activities while partnering with FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability engineering teams.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Develop test programs; maintain existing and new test capabilities to support reliability assessments using C#, Python, C++, and related tools.
- Perform wafer-level and package-level reliability testing including HCI, BTI, TDDB, and EM.
- Execute electrical measurements using semi-automatic and fully automatic probers.
- Manage test schedules, priorities, and resources to ensure on-time completion of qualification activities.
- Drive operational efficiency through standardization and automation.
- Manage equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and Quality Management System requirements.
