Job Description: The Revenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards (ASC 606), preparing revenue-related reconciliations and reports, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to analyze revenue transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
- Experience with revenue close and account reconciliations
- Understanding of contract assets, contract liabilities, deferred revenue
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, RMCS,)
- Knowledge of SOX controls and internal compliance requirements
- Ability to review and interpret customer contracts and revenue implications
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
