Internship Program Overview: Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.
Summary of Role: This internship is a project-based, customer focused role with routine tasks. The project assignment focuses on understanding GF technologies, evaluating customer and market opportunities, and performing competitive analysis to support strategic sales activities.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Understand key GF technology offerings.
- Review customer product portfolios and engage with subject matter experts to analyze where GF technologies are a strong fit.
- Review customer and competitor press releases, earnings calls, and financial statements and present competitive analysis.
- Read market reports, perform market analysis, and assist the team with daily business processes and long-range planning.
- Support Account Managers with business initiatives, customer-facing analysis, and participation in business reviews, sales meetings, strategy meetings, and supply meetings.
