Senior Engineer I, Software Engineering(Cluster Tool Controller)

The CTC Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Cluster Tool Controller (CTC) software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on scheduler logic, WPF-based user interfaces, and feature development to improve system stability, usability, and operational efficiency in high-volume manufacturing environments.

What you will be working on

• Design, develop, and maintain CTC software and wafer scheduler logic
• Implement new features and enhancements using C# (primarily) and/or C++
• Develop and optimize scheduler algorithms for wafer flow management and process control
• Design and implement WPF-based(or WinForm-based) UIs for real-time monitoring and control
• Build intuitive operator interfaces to visualize wafer flow, equipment status, and system events
• Integrate UI components with scheduler and core control logic
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, scheduling conflicts, and runtime issues
• Validate software functionality using simulators and real semiconductor equipment
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Hardware, Process, QA, and Customer Support
• Support overseas business travel when required
