The Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Division is looking for a Senior Manager, Propulsion Test, Launch and Recovery within the Experimental Systems Group (ESG) . The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite located at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida.
The ideal candidate will excel in both the engineering technical acumen/excellence required for this role while also being an engaging and motivating people leader, including committing to:
- Prioritizing the development and career growth of engineering employees by attracting and developing talent, providing meaningful mentorship and stretch opportunities, and building high‑performing teams that align to ESG’s business vision and strategy
- Inspiring and empowering teams through a One Boeing mindset, collaboration, clear communication, and truth seeking/truth telling to drive shared goals and program execution
- Building and nurturing a Quality and Safety culture by cultivating inclusive perspectives, connecting and engaging with teammates and stakeholders, speaking up, and creating emotionally safe environments for raising safety, quality, and schedule concerns early
- Leading with accountability and a bias for action by using sound judgment amid uncertainty, managing complexity, applying business acumen to align decisions with ESG financial, programmatic and strategic objectives, adapting under pressure, driving process improvements, and demonstrating change leadership to deliver measurable results
