Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in system safety engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry. Familiarity with safety standards such as ARP4761, ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-254. Experience with safety analysis tools (e.g., Fault Tree+, CAFTA, or similar). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline. Experience with aircraft certification processes. Familiarity with the management of safety requirements in DOORS or similar software. Familiarity with FAA Part 23 airworthiness standards. Knowledge of model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and practices.
