DuPont is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer for our Healthcare Industries Materials Site (HIMS) in Hemlock, Michigan. The HIMS plant produces a wide range of silicone-based materials used in the healthcare industry. This position reports to the Manufacturing Technology Manager and receives additional training and guidance from the HIMS maintenance leader.
The Reliability Engineer will collaborate with operations and maintenance team members and be a team member in the Manufacturing Technology (MT) organization. The role defines and implements the site's Reliability Strategy and provides technical expertise on all matters of reliability, equipment, and maintenance engineering, assessment, and monitoring for all process equipment. The role will conduct reliability studies on existing equipment and recommend needed improvements to Operations management in the areas of equipment philosophies, strategies, and best practices for asset productivity.
The role is the lead for all matters of equipment reliability and will focus on enhancing value through analysis along with some first response, day-to-day trouble shooting of failed equipment. The role will also be a key contributor to improvement and capital projects and play a role in equipment design, selection, implementation, and startup working closely with other engineering disciplines and interfacing closely with operations.
