Overall Purpose of Position
The Sr. Staff SiC Engineer will be a key member of the Wide Bandgap product line further enabling the successful transition of SiC products from realization to stable volume manufacturing. The successful candidate will work as a deeply technical liaison to both internal product and manufacturing teams as well as external SiC foundry and material suppliers.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Lead SiC power products NPI: discrete, module, die sales
- Ensure all NPI schedules and business gate requirements are met and on schedule
- Assist in new product platform roadmap development and design
- Oversee external foundry SPC integration and material supplier quality standards
- Work with product engineering to build internal test/screening/qualification procedures specific for high reliability SiC products
- Work with application engineering to drive SiC specific datasheet, application, and reliability testing strategies to ensure full compliance with
- AEQ and new JEDEC and customer requirements such as dynamic dV/dt, BPD, dynamic Vth, and diode surge
