SSD Product Quality & Reliability Engineer

Job Description: Job Purpose: This position plays a critical role in developing, manufacturing, and deploying products and services that not only meet but exceed our customer expectations. It focuses on delivering a best-in-class quality experience to our customers by conducting qualification of Solid State Drives (SSDs), implementing quality metrics, and utilizing data-driven methodologies to predict or prevent defects, ensuring products meet quality and reliability performance within product life cycle milestones.Key Responsibilities:* Create the infrastructure to execute the qualification of Solid State Drives (SSDs).

• Design, plan, and execute the qualification of SSDs and all their components, following the industry's best-known practices.
• Develop a physical understanding model prediction and enhancing the quality and reliability of advanced semiconductor products.
• Develop cost-effective production monitoring and screening schemes to ensure processes are stable, and products meet committed quality and reliability performance​

Qualifications: Required:* The candidate must have a BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

• 6+ months of experience in programming (C, C++ or Python)
• 5+ years of job experience in job related field
• Must be able to work onsite at Sacramento location.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Strong research and writing skills
• Good time management
• Critical thinking skills
• Self-motivator

Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the following areas:* Probability and statistics

• Statistics Software JMP Minitab or similar
• Computer programming for data acquisition reduction and analysis
• Hands on experimental design execution analysis interpretation and synthesis
• Track record of effectively working with interdisciplinary teams
• Transistor Device Physics and Fabrication Process
• Storage Architecture or Firmware experience on NAND memory products
