Are you excited by the opportunity to work with advanced technology that contributes to safer maritime operations, national security, and the protection of critical infrastructure? At KONGSBERG Norcontrol you will work with market-leading surveillance and sensor systems used by customers around the world. Our customers operate within maritime transportation, coastal surveillance, defence, and other critical infrastructure sectors. We are now looking for a System Engineer to join our team in Norrköping and help deliver technology that makes a real difference. What you will be doing As a System Engineer, you will be part of our Operations team, responsible for the delivery, commissioning, and support of our maritime surveillance systems.
- Install, configure, and commission systems at customer sites
- Perform system upgrades, testing, and verification activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network infrastructure
- Provide technical support to customers, users, and project teams
- Work with the integration of sensors and third-party systems
- Participate in the planning and execution of projects in Sweden and internationally
- Perform service, maintenance, and technical support activities on-site when required
We think you should have
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Solid knowledge of software, hardware, and networking
- Experience with installation, configuration, or troubleshooting of technical systems
- Strong communication skills in both Scandinavian and English
- A valid driver's license (Category B)
- Experience from customer-facing technical roles is an advantage
- Experience or interest in maritime systems, sensors, or surveillance solutions is beneficial

- Collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines
